The Fifth Circuit had granted an injunction preventing the feds from removing the wire pending resolution of the dispute. The SC vacated the injunction, allowing the feds to remove the wire. Four Justices disagreed with the vacation of the injunction; meaning, they would have left the wire in place while the underlying litigation is pending.

It was a just decision made by the Supreme Court based on Constitutional Law. There was no ruling about Texas putting up new wire to replace cut wire.
My hope is that Abbott keeps his National Guard on post to obstruct DHS from accessing the site where they are bent to cut it, forcing Biden to Nationalize the National Guard. That will be political suicide for all Democrats siding with that decision.
