The rocks are at the end of his tail.

The base of his tail was as big around as a milk jug cap.

I bet it weighed 20 lbs in its prime

Use to skin a lot of them in the early eighties.

My mother always liked possum fur. I got her a big one tanned, she always said the fur on a prime one reminded her of cottontail rabbit

I caught one like that about 25 years ago. I think it was the first one I ever caught. Around 20 lbs and I remember his nose being flat and the size of a half dollar, like a little pig.

Good thing you found him when he was dead,
