Northof50 trapper N Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 8,218 Manitoba	Had an old HBC grader tell me of a way to test the finish of a marten. Place a "Bluenose" on the fur and watch the sink depth. (converted to USA slang, a "Roosevelt") now to this day never knew if it was a true factor or the old guy just knew how to swipe up an unsuspecting youth of their money even if it was 10cents at a time; RIP CHIN
