My Vice-Grip hack.
I modified the one on the bottom. I keep it in my boat. What I use it for is very temporary impromptu mooring.
When fishing I will clamp the vice grips to a branch or docking ring or any other thing handy and attach a line with a carabiner. Easy , simple , cheap and it works good.

Hey, neat idea, I like it ! That's something I could use ... and will, thanks.
A basic model out of SS would be fantastic !
Cool !

They look purdy handy! Might save a little gas and O2 at some point.

They only fit certain size heads but if you can get long handled hoof nippers on a nut it will either come off of shear the bolt. Those things are adjustable!

If O'Reilly's prices scare you I'd stay away from the Snap On and Mac trucks.

Vice-grips are like the original multi-tool. There is a lot you can do with them. It is like having an extra pair of hands.

I always thought "vice grips" dressed in blue and carried handcuffs! Life can be so confusing.

Avoid Kobalt brand from Lowes. Super soft metal that I don't want to call steel. Also my Lowe's doesn't warranty Kobalt.
