Supreme Court Justice Alito had our nations flag flying upside down in his yard. I'm thinking that may not be an appropriate behavior for a Supreme Court Justice. But does he have a point that our republic is in that much distress?

And it's nonsense to expect Judges or Justices to not have firmly held beliefs either aligned or not with your own. What matters is whether they can set that aside and judicate fairly according to the law and constitution without bias.

Also it crossed my mind how easy it would be to lower the flag hang it upside down and run it back up for the picture. Anything the news makes a big deal about in very questing of.

That happen at one or our district offices in Winnipeg. It was the security guards job to raise the flag in the morning and they weren’t Canadians. The boys in the morning let him know his error pretty quick. He was fired for using a corporate vehicle to pick up more booze one night and got into an accident.
Kinda funny. During covid, I saw alotta upside down flags on big trucks driven by so called patriotic Canadians, probably never went on a Roto over to the Stan or never lost a friend who was sporting that flag on his shoulder. Losers.
