If you’ve used a gasoline/coleman liquid gas combined with Andy Stoe’s dip, just put them in some paint thinner and work the dip/ paint off with a stiff paint brush. The last time I did it this way it took about a minute a trap.
The second way is much easier. Go find somebody who has a cement mixer. Put in about a gallon of 1/2 inch gravel and tumble your traps, 3-6 at a time, for about 10 minutes. It’s noisy but it really does the trick of removing everything.

I guess I've never ran into that. I only treat traps that need it - those that have had the finish worn off by catches or whatever. No need to treat them every year if they don't need it. me to
