I don't care what race or nationality my doctor is as long as they are medically competent at their specialty.
What I do require is that they have the practiced ability to speak & annunciate in good, proper, understandable English.
I have a tin ear for understanding poorly spoken, foreign accented, pigeon English.
If on a telephone, you can forget me hearing & understanding foreign accented English.

Examples of Wage Push Inflation
A government increases the minimum wage, leading to higher labor costs for businesses. Labor unions negotiate higher wages, resulting in increased production costs for businesses. A country experiences a period of rapid economic growth, leading to a shortage of skilled workers, which drives up wages and increases production costs.
If every illegal went back to Mexico this country would be crippled. I'm not saying what's right wrong or indifferent, I'm saying there's already a huge labor shortage, if the US lost that labor force, the economy would fail. Food shortages and starvation would be a reality. Just sayin You really think folks would sit around and starve without figuring it out and doing what needed to be done? Show me the workforce that would replace the field workers, the carpenters, etc. you think America has a population of people willing to work 12 hours a day in the hot sun for minimum wage? Yes I truly believe if every illegal packed up and went back to Mexico in one day, week, month, year, or even five years. The food chain would be broken like we've never seen. COVID should have taught you something about how fragile the supply chain is. Now apply that to food. Other than being yelled at for not wearing a mask in a store I was not affected by Covid.
You haven't been affected by inflation? The inflation we are experiencing right now is a direct result of the shutdown that lasted 2 months. That was four years ago. Now apply that to food.

At least deport the MS13 and such filth. Those 'people' just need to be exterminated.

There are close to 50,000,000 foreigners living in the US, if they were all expelled, there would not be a housing or medical practitioner crisis. I am not recommending expelling them all. Any getting public assistance need expelled. Any committing even minor crimes need expelled. Any that that are sick need expelled.
If we feel obligated to help them, It's cheaper to help them in their own countries.
Keith Your statistic is incomplete. How many of those 46.2 million foreign born people are citizens? Permeant residents? My entire family on my father's side are foriegn born . They've been here since 1959 and came here legally as refugees from the acores. They are part of the statistic you quoted.

"An analysis of the Census Bureau’s monthly Current Population Survey (CPS) from January 2022 shows that the total immigrant population (legal and illegal) in the U.S., hit 46.6 million — the highest number ever in American history. Immigrants are also referred to by the government as the “foreign-born”"
"In the United States, the United States Census Bureau defines foreign-born as “anyone who is not a U.S. citizen at birth”, which includes persons who have become U.S. citizens through naturalization but excludes persons born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents."

Foreign born is different than a foreigner. Americans can be foreign born. Foreigners are foreign born people, who are not US citizens. I have seen several estimates, that say the foreign population is much higher due to illegal aliens who were not apprehended. Keith

Hobby trapper, sir we've been discussing a hypothetical situation and I guess things went a little off course. I'm glad you're doing good. Thanks * edited as to not sound like a jerk.

10-4.
Hypotheticals are really best guesses, but still guesses. It’s okay that we disagree. Starvation is an excellent motivator , it’s why I believe produce isn’t going to rot on the vine just because people doing it now would up and leave.
It is also my belief that government regulations would be ignored on a large scale.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you Kieth. The statistic clearly states 46.2 foreign born people living in the United States. Anyone can Google it. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you Kieth. The statistic clearly states 46.2 foreign born people living in the United States. Anyone can Google it. No problem. I do think saying "close to 50,000 million" and 46,200,00 is the same thing. The latter number is just a guess and an estimate after all. I do think we need more immigrants. I just don't think we need the bad ones. There's lots of people in other countries, who would fit in well here and become productive members. Uneducated people from cultures that believe it's okay to abuse women, should not be allowed in the US. Keith

Build the wall and deport them all. They are illegally here and criminals. Change the laws if workers are needed so quality people who are a benefit to America are allowed in only.

Give an illegal alien a fish and he eats for a day. Deport him and you never have to feed him ever again!
