I haven’t bumped into you yet and seasons almost done the boys say it hos getting pretty slow out there then they bumped another 10,000 pounds yesterday or the day before Subsistence nets did really well for us this year we actually got to freeze some kings 😁 I just don’t care much for reds have been freezing them and silvers the last few years so we will eat good this winter

I read today that Bristol Bay surface water temp. is at normal. Have you heard anything Otter? Very nice photos, relaxing, even the vessel is at rest.

^^^^^ We still don't really know. I just called my fish company to get a pre settlement advace. They told me that they are a paying 80 cents base. Hopefully we will get a quick retro, hoping for 20 cents added to base, but won't be surprised if it's only a nickle or so. I think the overall bay harvest might be a little short of expectations, if so, that may help boost the base a little.

I just checked the preseason harvest forecast.
ADFG were predicting a harvest range from 25 million to 53 million (that's a pretty wide range imo). The University of Washington was predicting almost 31 million.
I just checked, and to date the total harvest is almost 31 million.
The only district that is still fishing to any degree is Ugashik, they averaged 436 fish per delivery yesterday. I think they are about done there, so the harvest will be 31 million this year.
