What the heck I don't see see your name on the NTA vendor's list this year! What's wrong too far or too hot ? Lol. I remember you saying last year that you would not be at this one but I was hoping you would change your mind.

The NTA sure isn't the same anymore, but I'll keep going just do the grandsons will grow up with the memories and to me that's all I care about anymore...

We are heading that way in a couple of days, by way of the Grand Tetons,Yellowstone,Custer battlefield, & Mt Rushmore.

Well till next time take care I. Sure we'll meet again.

Neither I or Trapperman will support the NTA anymore since they booted two of my members out of the NTA.

Hum haven't been watching all the politics and such. Is FTA a viable option? I don't really care who is hosting the event as long as it's trapping related with the commodity that goes along with it. Being able to travel to different states makes it a adventure for the kids and creates lifetime family memories. Sad that we over regulate everything right into the ground. I don't reckon the rendezvous had boards and president's..

BTW sorry if I hit a sore toe that wasn't my intent. But I can't tell these boys no at this point so off we go.

Hey Arktrapper. I was one of the two that got the boot from the NTA.

We went to the FTA convention this summer in VA and have plans to attend next summer in Spencer, IA.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

We pretty much did that same trip in 79 when we went to the NTA in Colorado. Great memories for sure.

I join as a lifetime member in about the mid 1980's I don't regret it but over the past way too many years they have turned into, a good old boys group And their first priority has become to protect their place ln the group My problem with that is It is NOT THEIR PLACE TO KEEP THE ORGANIZATION The NTA IS SUPOSED TO BE PROTECTING TRAPPERS AND TRAPPNG RIGHTS I know there are many good people still striving for that goal But until I see a house cleaning they will not be receiving any monetary or other kind of support from me And it kind a hurts to feel that way Because as I said many people ar trying to make a difference and are being held back from that goal

Ark Trapper, be sure to get to Custer Battlefield early as they close at 4:30 and their museum is closed for remodeling. Take the time to do the cell phone tour at each of the stops on the battlefield, it gives you a lot more information than is on the display signs.

You might try the Indian Museum at Gary Owen just south of there too for a different take on it. They have a lot of the spoils. The families loan the museum things- like Custer's gloves.

Just passin through

We’re doing pretty much the same trip. Leaving Sunday and staying in Deadwood for 3 nights. Custer, Devils Tower, Minuteman Sites and whatever else.
