I've had a beard nearly all my life. My youngest daughter had never seen me without a beard. When she was about 3 years old, I decided to cut off my beard. I was in the bathroom and had just finished cutting it off. My daughter walked by and saw me without the beard. Her eyes got wide and she ran to her mother screaming. She was afraid of me for a couple days after that. My wife suggested I grow it back which I have done after being beardless for one day. That was 40+ years ago. Had a beard ever since. I did the same thing, think my daughter was around 5, she came home and saw me and took off screaming to her mom that there was a stranger in the house. Eric

My mommie never taught me much, but between her and my contemporaries, I had shaving figured out by mid adolescence. For you, my suggestion is if you don't yet have a handle on it ,just don't shave.

Ya, but then I have all the jealous men that can't grow a beard drooling over my epic beard. It's a lot to deal with all the envy.

She said if I ever cut it off again, she would probably still scream.
