Hard to believe the Wisconsin Trappers Association Fall Convention in Antigo is only a few weeks away, running September 6 & 7th at the Langlade County Fairgrounds in Antigo, WI.

The annual Trapperman Feed will be on FRIDAY, SEPT 6 and it’s time to get organized!

I will post the Master List here and update it as we get commitments from everybody. Please post if you can bring food, beverages, etc and/or if you can help us in labor camp with cooking, serving for the Feed on Friday or cleanup on Saturday.

Please do me a favor – when you post or PM that you can bring something, try to mention an approximate amount or number. That will help a lot with our planning.

I hope to shoot my bear on Wednesday, but just in case I'm still hunting Friday evening, I'll send a cash donation. And if I get my bear, I'll be there to share the story!

Hey, Dave! Glad to see you have Zim and I down for Labor Camp. My District 9 meeting is this Saturday, August 10 and I will see if we can get Wayne, Tommy and possibly Jason for Labor Camp. Wayne and Tommy are unregistered lurkers on here, and Jason is registered as "black and tan" but rarely logs in. I'll report back about those black sheep after Saturday.

Anyone who is committing to bringing food or beverages, please do your best to provide an amount for Dave. He needs that to plan and decide if he should buy more items to fill in where we're short.

Hey, Dave. I did hold my district meeting on Saturday and contacted any of our guys who were not there. I see you already added lurkers Wayne and Tommy, and I can also confirm that I have talked with both of them and both will be there to help on Friday. Jason "black and tan" will be bear hunting nearby but he probably won't make it Friday.

In keeping with long-standing tradition, you may want to designate one of Paul's smoked salmon cheese balls exclusively for Labor Camp workers.

Through behind the scenes negotiations, we have elevated the status of trifle from the Trifle Angel to a definite maybe. She has a lot on her plate (pun intended), but will have a better take on it as the date grows closer.

Nothing to post on the Master List yet, but we will continue to inquire...
