Ya that works. But why have I been pulled over going 5 under at 430am out off state taking my daughter on a youth deer hunt. I was going slow in an unfamiliar area looking for where the turn was in the dark. Cop Said I swear vent in my lane !and was a lie as the cruzer cam clearly showed in court later. He saw out of state plates early in the morning g and made up bs to pull me over and satisfy his curiosity. Now 4 continuations 2.5 hr drives one way and missed work to go to court before they finally gave up on me paying the bs ticket and it got thrown out after watching the video from the cruzer. Would have been money ahead to jus pay the ticket for 125 vs the gas, time off work missed two days, the other two I was off, and all the time driving. But the principal of it and how the cop acted mad me mad. Ultimately he he was exposed in court but probably got a promotion. Thin blue line and all or maybe just part of the good old boy network in KY.

But hey he was just doing his job righ. Made up bs excuse to stop me, did all he could to get me fired up to escalate things( thank goodness I had my 7 year old daughter in the truck so I stayed cool) bs ticket because I did calmly let him know my low opinion of him. 4 continuations whrn i got to the court house on the court dates hoping I would get tired of the drive and taking of work and pay the little $125 ticked a day it would go away. They did figure I would keep coming back and they would be proven in court with their own video the cop lied made an illegal stop and lied about me swearving ( ticket was for careless driving) ..

But I'm sure I just don't like cops and don't want to accept the consequences. I have never complained about a ticket , or lawful stop, only cops fishing, illegal stops and now with this the cop lying and weighting a ticket for what his own video showed he lied. Not surprising when I requested a copy of the video the said no problem we will get a copy sent out to you but it never showed up..

I'm happy for all of those that have only had good cop interactions. But just because that is your experience in your few interactions does not mean that how they all are. Have one bad one and your eyes will be opened. Or maybe not if the boot licker govern me harder daddy instant is two strong.

Typically most cops are cool and laid back. I don't like the fishing or when cops think they are slick trying to pull bs. I'm also not shy saying when they do a good job either.

I have driven over 30000 miles this year so far. I would attempt it without cruise control. The gas savings alone would warrant a different. That and as I get older I find myself driving too slow.

Ironically no police interactions this year either.

It's obviously OK to drive way too fast, when sleep deprived, because you're greedy, and have to prove to the world you're "somebody"......habitually. Perhaps taking a spelling class instead of working 16 hour shifts far from home, and endangering countless other citizens would be a better plan ?
