I got the neighbor's cat in my skunk/possum/raccoon trap. No visible poop but lots of hair and smell. Will this bother the other target animals or should I hose it out? Thanks

Cat scent is a huge attraction, to other cats.

I’d hose it down to get rid of the ick factor, but the animals you’re going after know cat smell. If you’re trapping at the location where you caught the cat, they know that specific cat’s smell. If you’re trapping posi, it’s not going to be a big deal any more than your scent on it.

Tom cat stink is nasty but I'd bottle, and use, it for a lure.

not that it's a big deal, leave it. what can house cat sent do. If it bothers you, just change out the trap.
