I saw this trap on the internet and just had to have it. It's a German trap made by Rudolf Weber. It was often used in Africa. Leopards, panthers, pumas and hyenas were caught. I hope you like the old trap :-)

Neat looking trap! I wonder how many were made? Looking at the picture...it looks like the grapple hook was staked down? Is there a retractable metal stake that folds down for staking on that hook?

Do you mean the anchor? It's just a drag anchor with three prongs. There's nothing to fold.

The spring is extremely strong. Without this spring hook or a large vice it is not possible to clamp the baby.
