My first truck is still my current truck. 04 Ranger, I’m not entirely sure but I think a 3.0 liter engine? Terrible in snow and ice ! But I have a lot of happy memories trapping with it!
We also have a 96 Chevy Cheyenne with bench seats and roll down windows. Easily my favorite.

1976 Ramcharger, real rust bucket but ran good.

After that drove cars for a few years before going back to trucks.

1989 Ford F-150 with a 302.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

I had my first 2wd ranger an 88 at 14 but let mom use it for trade in on an rx7 convertible at 15 and never legally drove that truck. the rx 7 sure was fun and a hit with the chick's. my 4x4s were suvs tell I was 19 then I got a 2wd 98 f150. it was a lemon and 2wd so I traded it for a 99 4x4 150 it was a good truck. but died when an old man puld out off a side street and hit me going down the hwy in my door. the impact sent me off the road and into a red oak at 55 or so. 3 months later I stopped at the tree and put my hand into the tree fingers extended and my hand went in up to my hand where the frame of my truck went through my bumper and into the tree so roughly 4" plusses of death into the oak tree my frame sunk. I was knocked out at initial impact when the guy hit me and other that concussion, not remembering a big part of 3 months, and a few other long reaching effects. head injury Leander and compound as you get more of them.

the best truck u ever had hands down was my 94 Toyota 4×4 sr5 . had 320 on it when I sold it. wish I still had it. I ran that thing hard for years and it held up.

My first truck was a 5 window '51 GMC that I pulled out of a farm field and bought for $150. The title the guy gave me was for what I think was a 2.5 ton flatbed, so I never really licensed it. Not too long after I bought it the starter went out and being flat broke most of the time I could not afford a new one, so I would park in places that would allow my girlfriend (Yes, now she is now referred to as Wonderful Wife) could get enough space, preferably downhill, so I could pop the clutch and get it running.

On a very memorable trip up north to visit (Impress) her parents, we took along our two dogs in the cab with us. They did serve a purpose by helping to shield us from the water coming up through the floorboards when we ran into a big storm. It was quite the trip...and she still stuck with me! Wish I still had the truck too!

Our next truck was a '76 Chevy 1/2 ton we bought in 1979...like a new vehicle! The only problem was we had no other vehicle at the time and had to walk to car lots to find one, but that is a whole other story....

Mine was a Chevy. Don't remember the year. I have never owned a car since. Often wondered how I ever got along without a truck prior to that?

1976 F-250 2wd white with a red top. 390 4bbl carb. Drove it til it was nearly dead. Second truck was a 79 F150 4x4 short bed 33" tires, 429ci. with a 750 holly on a high rise aluminum intake. Dark charcoal gray with metal flake. One heck of a truck I wish I still owned.

1980 Chevy Luv. Bright red. Paid cash brand new.

Guys at the lot didn't want to wait on me , they took one look at a young redhead girl and figured I couldn't afford anything.

I rode the wave in airbrushing murals on cahs, bikes , vans, trucks ...was a fun time on the cahlot.

The expression on their faces were priceless as I pulled out my wad of cash and drove my new truck off that lot a short time later.

Hey Moosetrot: Did the title for that truck say the previous owners last name was F. Flintstone? Bet you got decent mileage out of those stone tires.
