Coming soon to Colorado. We have MT. LIONS everywhere, they're on my porch and patio at night. Now we have a ballot initiative next month to ban ALL Mountain Lion hunting, ALL cage trapping of bobcats, and they threw Canadian Lynx in there as well , it helps fire up an ignorant public and inflames their emotions. Even though Canadian Lynx are already totally protected in the lower 48 states.

I went to one of these roadside zoo things they have in Florida. That day they were having a wild cat show. They brought out several different types of cats. Smaller venue so you can get a closer look at things than an ordinary zoo.
The animal handler brought out a Florida panther on a leash. Gave a bit of talk about the animal. Then told the crowd of about 25 in attendance that if the panther wanted to attack it's first choice would be a small girl in the audience. Smallest and weakest victim first. Very large people would be the last choice.

I got to pet a live Florida panther. It was SOLID muscle. I now have a huge respect and yes , even fear of one of those attacking. Even holding a loaded and cocked .44 mag , my odds would be poor.
