It's not hard for me to believe. There are lot's of uninformed/misinformed folks that have only heard one side of the story, the anti's and the media's side, one in the same? There are many hunters in that group.
The antis do a much better job of getting their message across than we do.
Eh...wot?

We had traps destroyed by big game hunters in Wyoming. It's okay for them but not for us.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Before speaking with you yesterday I had just watched a video of a coyote pretty beat up from trying to get away from a hand trap. Which is why when we were messaging I mentioned I wished cage trapping was more convenient. BUT I realized getting to the traps in a reasonable time is very important. So, for my own knowledge how do I respond appropriately to this question? Was this trap a - trap or could the yote been on there too long? Adrenaline is heck* of a drg, so I can see that having an impact on pain tolerance for the animals. Thank you for being patient with my "newby questions"!

Every libtard I've come across thinks our traps cut the legs off the animals we pursue
I've had to stick my hand in one several different times to prove otherwise

Which is why when we were messaging I mentioned I wished cage trapping was more convenient. BUT I realized getting to the traps in a reasonable time is very important. So, for my own knowledge how do I respond appropriately to this question? Was this trap a claw trap or could the yote been on there too long? Adrenaline is heck* of a drg, so I can see that having an impact on pain tolerance for the animals. Thank you for being patient with my "newby questions"! Go to the Furtakers of America website or their YouTube page and do watch the videos Destroying the Myth and Trapping in todays world. Those can be your answers! You will get more confidence after a while when it comes to defending trapping. FTA has a great bumper sticker that basically says trapping helps protect pets. That is a winning topic for us. Trapping reduces suffering and disease for wildlife, and makes wise use (conservation) of our natural resources.

Dry firing a trap is much more scary than accidentally getting your hand caught in one while bedding it. Much louder and intense. It isn’t painful. Coon creek outdoors on YouTube has a great video of him sticking his hand in traps to make a point. That’s what the vid is called. It’s mostly offset jaws vs closed jaws but at the end he sticks his bare hands into a big foothold trap. Several times I think a 1.5 Duke snaps may hand harder than #5 Bridger. been snapped in every thing in between and a 220. so far not a 330 or mb 750 and I'm glad about that.

Good Job SmashO' Thanks Scott! He isn’t Anti he just really wasn’t informed! At least he was open and honest with his questions and it led somewhere.
