As requested by Mr. Dobbins,
I called MTP about 1996. A very nice lady (Nancy) talked to me and helped me pick out my first trap order. Since I didn't know squat, and I had some stupid questions, she said to hold on she would get someone to help me. A guy gets on the phone and helped me for about an half an hour at least, probably closer to an hour. His name was Tim. He answered all my stupid questions and really explained what I needed. He didn't try to sell me anything. He just helped me pick out what I thought would be good traps for just starting out in Alaska. I think I spend close to $300 on that order. Then he called me back with some more information and gave me a deal I couldn't pass up. He sent me a bunch of MB 650's and MB 750's. I went out and caught some Lynx and Coyotes immediately. My trapping friends were all worked up. How could I just start catching these critters when I didn't even know what I was doing. Where did I get all this info. I told them my friend at MTP was helping me and his name is Tim. He was really nice and they should call him. They about fell over. They already knew of Tim and Nancy, but had never taken the time to talk with them. That's when they told me he owned MTP and Nancy was his wife. I was very humbled by that.
Then I get a nice note from Nancy in the mail saying she hopes I catch lot's of stuff in Alaska and that she was the one on the phone with me. I have been a happy customer ever since she answered the phone. Thanks to Tim and Nancy for helping this trapper get started. I have tried to pass that on to others just as much as they did for me. Good luck to the new owners, those are some big shoes to fill.
My Super Wide will pull your broken down 4 stroke, up a hill backwards, with you on it!
