Just wondering if anybody has used these and what they think of them compared to a bridger or duke 330?
Thanks

Ya can't miss fur if yur traps are out somewhere.
Or so I've been told.

If I was looking at new traps I would look at the new dukes, I think they might be out now.

What's different about them? I bought a half dozen new Duke 330's last summer, and aside from the springs being stiffer than the leafs on my one ton, they don't seem any different than they ever have been. I do seem to remember being able to set them by hand, and this new batch there's absolutely no way...I didn't know if they changed something or if I just got a batch with crazy springs lol

Duke has a copy of the Belisles. I’m
Not sure of the price point on them but the others he has copied are cheaper. I know a lot don’t agree with his business plan but with the price of furs I can’t see spending more on traps than you have too. I do have all Belisles right now but I bought before the copies and I use them to make money year round.

I have a bunch of belisles and victors too, it's just hard to argue with the price point of dukes, and they do the job. They've been stepping up their game too, the MB copies they make are a decent trap (I've always preferred Victor or Bridger footholds) and I've always had good luck with their body grips. I ordered some RBGs a few days ago, I'm excited to try them out

Price point is why I was wondering about the wolf creek 10x10's. The only difference that I see is 10x10 instead of 10x10.5. They are also 8-10 dollars less than the duke 330 or 330 mags and half of the belisle's.

Try them out....see if you like them and keep researching. Swap, trade, sell equipment off yearly that you don't care for and get a system you have faith in.....BUT.
If you only trap a beaver of three a year I wouldn't worry about it. There are still trappers using old 330 Victor sq jaws from he 70s and killing hundreds of beaver a year.

It's each.
20 per trap unless you get a 12 or more than they're 16.50 per trap

MChewk, agreed, I'm just finally in a spot where i have beaver that I don't have to drive 300 miles to trap them so I'm looking at all my options for a couple dozen traps that won't kill the bank

For those prices, I might get some to try. Where'd you find them at?

I bought 4 and tried them for a couple of seasons. Absolutely hated them. The springs were really weak right out of the box and it was not uncommon to find them snapped and empty. All in all they just seemed really cheap and poorly made. I much preferred my Bridgers and dukes over them. I bought them because they were cheap but I certainly regretted it.

I believe Warren Buffet said. Value isn’t what you pay, value is what you get.

I’ve seen a couple YouTube videos on them.
