Here you go fat fans Not to be too rude, but I’ve seen pics of you that you’ve posted and you’re quite overweight. Also the list of side effects you posted about the keto diet that you’re mocking, are the same ailments that you have VERY regularly posted about you having gone through yourself. I think whatever diet you are on (American diet no doubt) is much worse than keto.

People that I know on keto and others that tell the truth about it all lose weight I agree. Their exercise is increased from all the RUNNING. Running to the bathroom as fast as they can because their colon is disagreeing with the grease. But I’m sure not everyone is the same You are so full of crap it's hilarious. One of the main side affects of Ketosis is constipation because of the lack of fiber. Takes a while to adjust, but tunning to the bathroom is not the problem. LOL

I never crapped my self so much as the month I went vegetarian on bet probably 15 years ago.
3 weeks to get sorted onto not eating any meat and about a week to transition back after I hit my month.
and honestly it made me grow as a cook , no I am never doing it again.
the transition off sugar and cereal grains really wasn't that hard after the 2 weeks of jonesing for sugar
today it is almost all veg , meat , dairy , it works well for me most veg has enough starch in it as it is.
there is Keto and there is Paleo , the low carb thing is probably closer to Paleo
Paleo being if it wasn't a food option thousands of years ago it isn't part of the diet that would allow some grain like rice and I have a little rice in very small quantities usually with a hunk of raw fish on it but not very often. if we think about it on the north American continent or WI specifically a thousand years ago Wild rice would have been one of the very few grains.
the transition doesn't need to be an overnight one you can just start cutting out carbs and adding proteins and fat in growing quantities
the issue is often that we were getting enough protein around a pound a day , we often are even getting enough fat , we are just getting hundreds if not thousands of calories of sugar that the human body just isn't adapted too , our grandparents in the 1900-1940 were not getting that kind of sugar so we have 1-3 generations of sugar and cereal grain increase often with much greater sedentary life. everything is easier , no walk to the outhouse , no fetching water from the pump , no heating the water , no cutting and hauling firewood. no scrubbing on the laundry. no fetching the horse and hitching a wagon , not even grinding the coffee. everything is a push of a button, flip of a switch or a turn of a key.
we saw diabetes bad in African American and Native American populations first , African Americans made sugar 200 years ago they seldom got to partake in eating sugar. Natives have thousands of years of meat ,veg , wild rice , then got subsidized cereal grains pushed on them the same as much of the African American populating.
that is not to say our white Ancestors really had that much better of a way of handling sugar. I have 2 great grandparents who died from type 2 diabetes in the their 40s 41 and 47 both sides of the family. my moms grandpa and my dads grandma. this was late 1930s and early 1940s

PF don't know how or were you expect me to get more info on symptoms. I don't have a grant to run a study of people starting the diet plan . But EVERY chart that shows up when I google it says diarrhea IS one side effect COMMON to it. YES NOT ALL experience it Once again NOT FOR ME
Some people experience diarrhea when they start the keto diet, but it's less common than constipation. The severity and duration of diarrhea varies widely, and not everyone who starts the keto diet will experience it. Some groups of people are more likely to experience diarrhea, including: People with a history of gastrointestinal issues like Celiac disease or irritable bowel syndrome People who have a low tolerance for fat or dairy People who transition to the keto diet quickly, especially if they start with a very restrictive version Some causes of diarrhea on the keto diet include: Lack of fiber: Fiber helps bulk up stool and prevent diarrhea Processed low-carb foods: These foods may contain sugar alcohols, which can ferment in the gut and cause diarrhea Artificial sweeteners: Some people use artificial sweeteners to limit carbs, but they aren't absorbed well by the gut Some ways to manage diarrhea and other digestive issues include: Eating fermented foods Drinking water Eating healthy low-carb vegetables, which contain fiber Gradually adjusting your carbs and fats Digestive issues are usually temporary and resolve within a few weeks as your body adjusts to the new diet. However, if you're still having issues after making adjustments, you might want to consider stopping the keto diet. . In addition to constipation, diarrhea can crop up as a side effect of the keto diet — especially in the first few weeks. “Some people have difficulty digesting large amounts of dietary fat, which can lead to greasy diarrhea,” notes Yawitz.
Other causes of diarrhea on the keto diet include lack of fiber (fiber helps ward off diarrhea by bulking up stool) and processed low-carb foods like shakes and bars that may contain sugar alcohols. These sugar alcohols can ferment in the gut and cause gastrointestinal discomfort. Yawitz suggests limiting foods labeled “sugar free” if you’re prone to gas or diarrhea when you eat them. And you may want to gradually adjust your carbs downward and your fats upward. “Also build your diet around [naturally] high-fiber, low-carb foods like avocado and nonstarchy vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus,” she says. Other keto-friendly ways to get more fiber include chia seeds, almonds, and coconut.

if you are limiting yourself to 1 pound of protein and not trying to add signifigant fat , and making up all the rest with vegitables , you WILL NOT HAVE A LACK OF FIBER
veg has a lot of fiber , you do not need cereal grains to get fiber
switching to any diet cold turkey will give you the trotts

there is more fiber in a cup of green beans than 3 slices of bread
there is 17 carbs in 1 cup of bread cubes and 7 carbs in 1 cup of green beans

Jbyrd, all you keep doing is mentioning a side effect to the diet as one begins it. Once their body regulates all that stops.
How old are you jbyrd, if you don’t mind me asking.
Glad you’re losing weight!
