Waiting for the doctor to open up a bit early. Going to sedate Jezebelle and see what’s going on with the mass in her throat. Been having some rough nights. Trembling. Seems to perk up an hour after meds. We all cried a lot last night hoping we don’t have to make the ultimate decision but I have to see what’s going on before we jump to conclusions. Any happy thoughts and well wishes would be appreciated. She’s such a good girl and loves a happy life except for this crap she is dealing with

my fingers are crossed for good news.

Prayers for Jezebelle.

Well no improvement in fact it does look worse in a sense. Although it is less inflamed than before. No sense biopsying because it came back malignant twice now. Yet last year it disappeared somehow.
We are increasing her steroid dose.
Once she was fully awake she helped herself to some chicken and stars.
Ate well this evening and even wanted a walk.
She is one tough little doggy.
I will keep her comfortable for as long as possible. Not sure if we are going to oncology specialist because this type of growth is not really operable. She will tell me what she needs and when. Thank you all for your thoughts and care!

It's a tough call. Just try to keep her comfortable, she'll let you know when it's time....

How old is the dog?
Sometimes you need to make the tough decision for the dog not for yourself.
Had to do that a few times over the years.Not a nice feeling.

She’s the furthest thing from a Karen

She’s thirteen. I was hoping to have her much longer, as she is a smaller breed and otherwise in very good health with routine bloodwork and dental care and good quality food. But you play the cards you’re dealt…
She’s doing better with the increase In steroids. She still wants to go for rides and walks and have fun. We have made “that decision” so many times with our pets. I won’t let her suffer.
