i was out setting some more traps yesterday. i got two more lynx sets out, as well as one for wolverine. 5 more marten boxes are out using a deer carcass as bait.

What kind of trap do you use for wolverines?

I typically build a cubby and put a #330 coni in the entrance. I have also used #4 and #5 coil springs as well with satisfying results

Ok, then I will speak for myself. I enjoy having out-of-towners come by and ask to learn about trapping and hunting. I know that Alaska is one of the best states for such activities. So I like having people come have some fun. (As long as they don’t cause trouble that is)

No different with AK or any other state or country, for that matter. Among the very worst people I've seen who don't care about where they live, are those who were born there. There are locals who will steal traps , gas, toilet paper, meat, step on trap line territory , break into cabins, and not think a thing about it .
