Flockbuster OP trapper F Joined: Dec 2024 Posts: 18 SC	SCDNR tags and releases 16 coyotes a year statewide to encourage people to hunt and trap them . If you get one it's worth$3000. I This is my third season trapping so I still get pretty excited when I get a coyote. I was dancing around like a 64 year old kid when I spotted the ear tags. Only second day on the line and my season is made.

Predation? Disease (mange/rabies)?

Flockbuster OP trapper F Joined: Dec 2024 Posts: 18 SC	Talked to the head of the furbearer project that released the tagged coyote. He was released 25.6 miles away from where I caught him in December of 2023. He was the 71st one caught out of 142 released over the last 8 years.
