I know these come coated, but I’m curious what those view who use them do after that coding wears off.
Does it hold up through several catches?

I have some experience w/ them. But not a ton. 2 years w/the NO BS Beaver Extremes. 4 coil. Coating holds up just fine. I have 1 doz. Probably caught 40 beavers w/ them the last 2 years. They are tough to set by hand. My advice is to use the setters. Much much easier and safer. Still working as good as new. My trapping Partner is thoroughly impressed w/ them. We bought another doz. I also bought 2 doz of the K9 Jr's. Very well built trap. That's my 2 cents.

I've had mine for several years, and I haven't noticed any coming off. If you slam a chain in your tailgate and drag one down the road for a long while, let me know what you find

I've used them since they became available. The coating will hold up better than anything out there available. I run them all through my black crystal Logwood pot with the rest of my gear and have never had a issue.

I think the coating on the NO BS traps holds up great. Even the coating on Kendall's dog-proof traps holds up after many catches.

I see on his site there are options for inside laminated outside laminated and for both.
Why would one want one or the other in this case.

Depends on if you have jaw width restrictions in your state. Guys that do use the inside laminations, those that don't usually use the outside laminations.

Yes in TN we have to have 1/4" jaw width, thus we need the lamination.

No need to question anything about NO BS traps. By far the best trap in production today.

If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

Besides having some of the best traps there are, I also appreciate how much Kendall and his company do to support trapping and trappers. I enjoy doing business with those that support us.

4 coil or 2 coil?
The 4 coils are pretty stout to set without a setter.
NoBS sells spacers to easily remove the springs an make them 2 coil.

I beat mine up and catch coons in them and with the footholds the coons can’t even scratch through the coating, with the dps the coons will scratch them up a tiny bit but not enough to make the whole thing rust

PETA is stupid.

Great traps, I love mine but the coating does wear off after several catches, had to start dipping some this year but was impressed how long they went!

Got them in the mail today.
Wow. First mistake was only ordering two. Should have trusted you guys more haha.

The pan level sitting below is great and coating seems as advertised.
