Are you macerating the skulls, using dermestid beetles or doing something else to clean them?

When you sell skulls, are all the teeth there? And are the nasal turbinates intact?

You dunk it in the slow cooker with a peroxide solution for 1/2 hour? What mix ratio?
A big cheap cooker from a garage sale is perfect. I’m close but can’t get them really white. I brush on 40v paste.

Like on a beaver, where the lower jaws come apart at the end, do you use any type of spacer to get natural alignment before gluing back together, or do you just glue?

Going to have to try it that way. I usually spend time taking as much meat off as I can plus the brains. I use an old heavy pressure cooker and turkey fryer burner as my heat source. Bring to a boil than let simmer for a while. Deer skulls take around as hour. Smaller skull not much difference. I have tried masceration on beaver skulls. That works really good but stinks really bad. Plus the skulls fall apart. Going to have to perfect the timing on that.

What sort of brain cavity cleaning method do you use? I know it is not a simple process to clean from the C1 to the sniffer in any skull, let alone a tiny muskrat or mink skull. Very curious how you deal with the task.
