1st cat that I've prepared for market, I want to make stretchers of the proper dimensions as this is a generic one of one of my friends. Pictures only show so much I understand, but just want some feedback. Actually had to rehydrate as I found that my garage won't allow me to wait overnight, lol.

That looks nicely done. Trappers always talk about the lengths of cats when stretched, but there’s also width requirements that are measured by the buyers. If you’re not within those parameters it can affect the grade.
Cat width measurements: under 32” - 6”w, 32-36” - 7”w, 36-40” - 8”w, 40”+ - 9”w. Pelt length is from nose to base of tail and width measurement is taken halfway on pelt. Just some more info to help get the most out of those cats!

my opinion, NOT square on the back/tail area.... like old coy said measured nose to base of tail.... potentially another 1.5 inch in length... The front legs appear to be cut short... cut them at or just below the dew claw pad, the end of the legs should reach the tuffs on the chin.. it gives extra length to show off the white in the legs, gives the appearance of a longer/wider belly... make sure to scrub the grease out of the crotch area after dried....
