I love these old Tundras. I picked up this near mint condition 250cc, 1990 recently from a guy who kept it in his garage since he bought it new. It was only ridden around his yard by his grand kids. First thing I did was to remove the windshield so I wouldn't break it.

Are you saying you're such a lousy snogo driver you regularly break windshields?

Ha, I only ever cracked mine a little on my first Tundra, with all the miles I put on it. Those things are tough! Of course my next one was more fiberglass than plastic by the time I was done with it. It even had pieces of duct tape you could see through the fiberglass where I taped the pieces into place and then fiberglassed over everything. wink

Rabbit wire and plastic cement is good for lacing up the cracks.

Fiberglass cloth and E6000 (Shoe Goo) is my go-to hood repair material.

It's not the drivers fault that all that brush gets in the way.

Without the windsheild you probably going to suck snow into the intakes and seize up your engine. put it back on.

I wish we had dry enough snow to worry about that problem. On the rare occasions we do have that potential problem, I would most likely replace the windshield for comfort, if nothing else. This is something to keep in mind though.

Rivets and a piece of old wind shield or clear plastic.

I bought one of those plastic welders, kind of expected it to be a piece of junk but I've repaired several windshields and cowling parts with it.
