Whjat size wire? It's hard to tell from the pictures. They look good though, I assume you'll be adding an extention cable to make these in-line swivels?

They are good look'n swivels. I dont see no nead to make snare swivels out of 9ga. wire. Unless the wire is soft annealed wire. Then why would you want to make a swivel out of soft wire in the first place?

TexA, I have to agree with ya.When you said "some" but you dont get a bent up 11ga. swivel very often. I have them bend once in a while. But never brake.I just cant just-a-fi The extra weight, and the extra work involived in making them.Once I make a swivel.I'll use it on all my snares .Not just coyote snares.I have more bent up by deer than coyotes.Again never had one brake.

BEING A PLUMBER I HAVE ALL KINDS OF PIPE AROUND, I USED A PEICE OF 1/2 GAS PIPE, DRILLED A 1/4 HOLE THOUGH THE SIDE OF THE PIPE AND USED A SCREWDRIVER FOR THE MANDRAL. TO BEND THE #9 WIRE AROUND THE SCREWDRIVER I USED A 3/4 NIPPLE CUT A SLOT IN THE END WITH A SAWSALL,PUT A 90 DEGREE ELBOW ON IT THEN ANOTHER NIPPLE,90, NIPPLE, TO MAKE A HANDLE. ITS CRUDE BUT WORKS.

My swivels need to keep their shap to function correctly ie. swiveling around the stake and allowing the end stop to spin. #9 is the only way to go when you use the system I do. Looks like a very good inventive way to build swivels deerhunterplumb. On suggestion would be to use a bigger pipe and pound the end into an oval shape instead of round to give your stops more room to swivel.
