I'd probably shy away from offset jaws for beaver.

If you can find CDRs, I fancy them twice as much as a 750. But it's tough to beat a 750. Bridger 5 could and double longs are excellent as well.

NEVER offset jaws....in CDR 7.5's and Bridger #5 four coils...been using them since '03 and VERY happy.

I like #5 Bridger long springs because I can set them on my thigh. Experimented with #5 coils but couldn't set them on my knee. Have also had good luck with Duke #4 four coils.
