Had a dead animal in the wall at a Chevy Dealership yesterday. It's down in the walls and can't be accessed (tile walls). Has anyone every used one of these before? http://www.cleartheair.com/english/bundles/10/dead_animal_odor_eliminator/2.html

If so, what did you think? I used a few times and half the time they like it, others say it's worthless. Or do you know of any other alternative to when you can't remove the animal?

Just tell them to have all the car salesman go outside for 20 minutes. I'll bet the smell goes away. laugh

Go in from the top a use a fish spear . . Car sale people are really something . They lie . Fake sales in the papers . Ask how much that truck cost and they hand you the keys to differnt truck to test drive . No just want the price . Hand you a differnt set of keys . There like from a differnt world . I finally found a dealer ship up in caro mi . About a hour north of me in farm country . I called them up . They asked what I was looking for , gave them my phone number . Guy called back with what he had and a price and saved me money about half on the bed liner and gave a free trailer package and save a few bucks on the total . This all in about 15 min from when I first called . I gave him my info , next day got a ride up there and 20 mins later I was headed back in my new truck that I just love to death . Felt like going postal at the other dealers . Before that I hadn't bought new in over ten years . Things sure have changed . Must send them to some nut ball school

Couldn't go in from the top. Upstairs was all finished as well. Too much damage. No salesman. It was the service department. Well, I guess the service advisors are salesman.

We rent out ozone generators for use when the building is not occupied.

If you can't get at it to remove, do you have access to dump Ag Lime on it. Will promote decomp and kills the stink. The thing got in there somehow.

The odor bundles shown are helpful in small areas only. The rental of an ozone machine is what we do in such cases to help with the airborne smell until it dissapates if it is not accessable. We have several units we purchased years ago for such purposes.

Carcass removal is always best if possible and practical. If you can determine the approximate position of the odor in the wall then drilling a small hole or holes into the wall and inject treating with an aerosol straw with a deodorizer will help alot until things cool down.

This is reason number one why a well trained get down lab dog is a must have in this biz . There's not a drop ceiling . There's always a drop ceiling . Are there flys stuck to the wall . The body needs to be removed

Bac-a-zap works pretty good on small animals like mice. Works good for de-skunking boots too.
