I watch Naked and Afraid and those are some pretty big blur marks- I'll say 4-1/2 in Georgia

Looks to me about a 31/2 for my world.

So, what is the age and how sure are you of that age you know it is at?

Nothing, it identifies as a doe. Do you see any antlers on that thing?

Didn’t post the antlers because I didn’t want it to influence any guesses. I don’t have scientific proof, just our observations over the years, but our bucks reach max potential around 5.5-6.5 years old…not the 7.5-8.5 everyone else says.
Now what’s confusing us about this deer is the lack of mass which generally indicates an older deer. We suspect 5.5+ (that’s the age we give bucks that size and what we know from pics) If I had to guess I’d say some where between 6.5-7.5 on this deer. He was seen a couple years ago and my son passed him thinking he might actually make P&Y the following year as a 6pt. Needless to say we didn’t see him last year and these are the first pics this year and he’s definitely declined.

Now all this is based on the fact it is indeed the same deer. My son says he is 90% sure it is and he’s real good about remembering deer and growth.

It very can be and our experience up here in Illinois is a lot of bucks never get over 140 inches just they don’t all have good genetics but a mature deer is still a trophy anyway you slice it

Certainly a mature buck with poor antler genes.

In the last pic he appears to be having trouble chewing.....
