Does anybody know if Facebook has cancelled trapping groups. 7 out of 9 groups seem to be closed.

Yep they have gone full blown animal rights. A lot of poultry groups are also gone.

Which groups?

My buddy raises exotic animals and he can't list anything on FB they are full blown idiots now. FB had been jumping around all week like it's on meth unusable at times. Just last night a lady selling mouse traps said she kept getting bumped on there so they went to extremes.

We've got trapping groups on MeWe now. It's not quite as slick as Facebook but doesn't have the nonsense.

I still see at least 3 of the groups are still up and operational.

Five years ago, Pustin Assonmonday was on this forum predicting

the ultimate demise of Trapperman.com, and the primacy of Facebook

as the dominant social media for Trappers, Hunters, Fishermen, and

other consumptive users of wildlife.

I stated at that time that eventually "we" as a user group would be expendable

after Facebook and other Left-leaning social media corporations were

done using "Us" for data mining, selling our personal Information,

and benefiting financially from using their platform for our networking.

Now that "Our" chickens have come home to roost, It's probably time for

those of you who have made the deal with the devil (Facebook) to

re-evaluate your decision and reclaim your soul before It's too late.

It may be already too late but you could at least limit the damage

by not continuing to support a platform that seeks to eliminate

your way of life.

Facebook is the Debil.

Personally very glad that trapperman exist for all of us, and very wary of the other social media websites.

Both the Facebook trapping groups I belong to are still up and running.

Are they buy sell groups that are getting shutdown?

Animal dealers went over to MeWe to avoid the BS from Facebook not that Facebook even works any more it acts like it's tweaking all of the time.

Call me cheesey if you wish, but I believe this site of collective trappers and outdoorsmen/women are the final continuity to all that is dear to us. We are the last Rendezvous and our Mt is being timbered.

I completely agree .They think that freedom of speech applies to them and they think the right to bear arms should be thrown out of the constitution .They want to decide who can have ,and what they can have . Yesterday was Patriot Day but many have no understanding of how hard it is to get and keep that freedom

Don't like face book think it causes a lot of trouble and little good but somebody posted they had closed several sites when he was asked to name them nothing. So can someone please say which ones they were? As far as I know the KY. sight is still up and running.
