Hwy 44 washed out West of Platte the Platte dam gave out the other day, maybe HWY18 is open you can avoid that construction East of Winner then.

SD 511 is open all the way. Will give it a try.

This morning 18 was closed even though the maps did not show this. I explored another option only to strike out again. I talked to a trooper that really had no interest in helping. A deputy sheriff thought the best way might be via Brookings. I finally called it a day and went back to Lennox.

My daughter just came from Sioux Falls but she had to go south to Vermilion and 50 west to 46.Said it wont take much more and the bridge on 46 just east of Wagner will be closed. Once you get to Wagner you're good.

Nothing else is open until you get north of I-90

The wife is heading to Sioux Falls for a wedding in Brandon that's under water, the travel safe SD map looks like the maze on the back of a cereal box to get anyplace. LOL

An underwater wedding would be unique. Where exactly is the water over 90 does anyone know?
