I did take the original and bent the ears in on it and it works better but the thing is still a jam o mattic once it gets just a little dirty. It still shoots good but is frustrating. This is what happens when they let the Canadians build guns for them.

GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 19,806 Green County Wisconsin	not aware of anyone else making them Spares and when you have a bad one , smash it so it doesn't end up back in use. 5 rounders seem a touch less fragile just because they are not as long it has long been the weakness of Savage 22s and I think they knew it , as the new B series line uses a rotary mag America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
