Today I saw a caravan of fellows on side-by-sides traveling down the shoulder of I-40 near Swannanoa. I guarantee you they were greeted warmly. If you can help, I suggest you target the most remote location you can find. Some hollows are still receiving supplies by air drops. You can contact the mayor’s office of a hard hit community for advice. Bring saws and wenches, chains, roads, and come alongs to move downed trees. Bless you. WNC has 100,000 customers with no power. 67,000 of those are in Buncombe Co, which probably doesn’t need help as badly as less populated counties.
