Can anyone tell me what this might be? 3' piece of HD nylon strapping with two rings for cinching tight and a D ring for attachment. I was thinking some type of collar?? Got a couple some years ago at a G sale and they have been perfect as collars for our deer cleaning and hanging. Really would like a couple more but as of yet have not been able to find anything like them. They might not be made any more.

I've seen similar straps around a battery box.

Called a gait belt I believe

Used around a patient's waist to help physical therapy keep them on their feet

if you put a grab hook on your winch line and run short lengths of chain with a choker on the other end it does the same thing

busted up chains are found at auctions and garage sales all the time for cheap

don't think you could wear that out

I thought it was a gaitbelt as well.

I have a much cleaner gait belt, made of the same material, that I had to wear at my first therapy session after knee surgery. I only had to wear it that one time.

Thank for the info. I don't have the ceiling height for chain, rope or cable noose. I need to be able to pull neck tight to ceiling pulley and these belts do that. Will search Gate belts.
