It won't work for kids, you'll still need fencing to contain kids if it's near residential or agriculture.

When I was growing up space was just one of those government can only do that (go into space) things. When private companies started using their capital muscle to do go to space I thought wow that is pretty cool. One night I was standing in my driveway and watched the train of Starlink satellites go overhead. That struck me as a really cool thing, I looked at that string of satellites go over me and thought wow a human being built that.
First time I rode in a Tesla I was impressed with its simplicity. Just a big screen, simple controls, and even the outside design was pretty good too. Man was that thing FAST. I could see all kinds of potential with that. I know the news was all about a fire here, or other issues. But geez what major auto manufacturer hasn’t undergone a serious recall, or had historical mechanical or crash issues, you could list the other car makers all day long if you look back through history and their problems. I thought well here is a guy trying something new and it’s like the Apple Watch, or iPod, or a cell phone, or first laptop, A whole laundry list of other inventions we all take for granted as normal today but at one time were new and cutting edge. Remember when no households had a personal computer at all? Or a cell phone? I see teslas all the time now. But at one time they were unique and turned a head when they drove by. Capitalism is the greatest thing in the world. It’s fun to watch the technology space grow today by leaps and bounds. We may (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and moan about our country”s issues. But at least each us has the freedom to own something, buy something, work for ourselves, and maybe invent something too. Go Elon. He’s not perfect, nobody is, but way to go pushing the envelope and taking things to new levels. Jim

J...funny you mentioned that.....I must of had a large ,or multiple colonies one spring that was eating the Terro but was still coming back for days, usually they're gone in a day....So I called Terro's hotline...they swore the formula hasn't ever been changed and just give it time....The ants finally stopped and I haven't had a problem like that again....

State of Michigan has extensively used the weevil in Michigan along with multiple roadside mowings.
Thistle grows here on the worst soils where nothing else does---particularly pure sand. Generally doesn't last on tilled ground

Yep, I steer clear of any of the salts these days. Too hard on equipment no matter how much I protected them, and there are much better freeze proof options available. Jim

It is a common occurrence when you pulverize something of a once living organic material. It is the separation of the solids to where they settle according to their mass weight. The total body mass of fish is a complex biological mixture of organs, fat, bone, scales and tissue.
The dense scales, bone and fins sink to the lower level. The oil appears to be in the next level above. The top is what I call the cream. It is the by product of the decomposition of the fish.
It is a foamy like material that is very light and fluffy. It is full of Carbon Dioxide and traces of methane which is very light in weight and escapes to the surface of the decomposing material, thus carrying some of the now "light weight" decomposition by products with it.

So what do the landowners up there charge for the small chance to shoot an elk? Probably a few thousand? The chances of shooting one on public land I'm thinking are pretty slim. Actually the success rate is extremely high. I know of a guy that paid a thousand dollars or so a few years ago, down by Millston, Wi. He succeeded quickly and it was probably still cheaper than going out west. Many farmers are so frustrated with them that i'm thinking I could find a place for ~free.

You can order them up to 6 feet long, and almost 3/4 inch thick from Home Depot. However, you can only order them at certain times of the year. I ordered 100 stakes that are 6 foot long to Alaska. Free ship to store!
They list many sizes and lengths to pick from.

Yep root systems are unreal. 3 year old tree I dug. Sold a few hundred this spring. Dug most with the bobcat but this one I dug by hand just to see what the roots were doing. These ones love the sand.

I can see where it may be beneficial occasionally but I'm glad we don't have to do it here. So please keep that stuff out east and down south. Thank you. Around here most of the landowners would take it as someone bothering them with the paperwork and over regulation. I've been fortunate to hunt the same land for over 40 years so I think the landowner knows me. I hope it stays that way for the awhile yet.
