Yeah that's what I use.

Here in NH..
When you get your trapping license...they give you a stack of them.

We have to get a land owner permission slip signed by the land owner..

We keep a copy ...and we send a copy to F&G.

I'll dig one up tomorrow and post it.

I didn't know there were states that require written permission.

I can see where it may be beneficial occasionally but I'm glad we don't have to do it here. So please keep that stuff out east and down south. Thank you.
Around here most of the landowners would take it as someone bothering them with the paperwork and over regulation. I've been fortunate to hunt the same land for over 40 years so I think the landowner knows me. I hope it stays that way for the awhile yet.

I made a form several years where it lists the legalese stuff at the top then I just had a table below so I can have 20 landowners listed on one piece of paper. Course now, we can do just about everything electronically and it counts.

We had it here in MI for a few years, maybe late 80’s or early 90’s until the mid-90’s. I can’t recall exactly EXCEPT it was a huge POS!!! When I walked up to a property owners front door to ask permission to trap and explained the written permission slip, all kinds of red flags went up over the property owners heads when they’ed ask “you want me to sign what, what for??” The property owners did NOT want to waste their time reading the form and most HATED SIGNING it!! It was terrible IMHO!!

When I worked for MSU on the Dioxin Prj, MSU gave us permission forms made by the University for the property owners to sign, I wound up with 67 signatures I recall. Property owners were far more receptive to sign the MSU permission forms than they were previously by a lone trapper.

Each state will have it's own reg's.
