Has anyone tried 1 of these biocontrols for this invasive?

I wish there was such a biocontrol for garlic mustard.

That knapweed will even grow in gravel. That's what I was told yesterday at the popular Fort McCoy annual invasive species workshop.

2 years ago, I had a patch of knapweed show up on my frontage on the state highway. I keep it mowed. It does not seem to spread at all. The patch is gradually shrinking in size. It started in a hayfield, that didn't get cut in a timely manner due to rain, a couple of seasons.

It's a perennial, but should eventually die out as long as it can't flower. Frequent mowing reduces many noxious weeds.

We have far too much knapweed out here . We put our goats on it and they eat it. That and pulling it are fairly effective

State of Michigan has extensively used the weevil in Michigan along with multiple roadside mowings.

Thistle grows here on the worst soils where nothing else does---particularly pure sand. Generally doesn't last on tilled ground
