I will not do any deals with croberts11; back in December he sent me a PM stating that he would mail payment on the day after Christmas for some items I had for sale if I did not mind waiting. Well, I considered them sold and did not take any other offers on them. I waited and found out today that he is not going to buy them at all. I realize I have not completely lost the items and/or money, but it is too bad that a man (boy?) is not as good as his word.

I had a less than good deal with Crankbait. I bought 12 1.5 duke coils. They were supposed to be dyed and waxed and when i got them, they were all rust, and smelled very strongly of fox and skunk. i could set my 6 pound sledge on the pans and NONE of them would fire. NONE of them! Got to looking farther and 3 of the baseplates were either bent or twisted. The least of my worries was the lack of EOC swivels. I will not be doing anything with him again. He was extremely late shipping them and thought that throwing in 1 extra trap was gonna make it all good and it would have if not for the condition issues.

just got screwed $270 by cpernice11, i traded him my paintball gun,2 tanks,2 barrels, 1 hard and 1 soft case, 2 electric hoppers and a few other little peices. in return i was to git 1 doz MB-450s and 2 victor 330s and we both cover our own shipping. he has had my gun since Jan 23 and i have yet to see my traps DO NOT DEAL WITH CPERNICE11.$270 is alota money around here and i cant have this happen to me or anybody on T-Man agian.

Retraction on Kody Gregg

I finally got the rangefinder back today after pressuring an outcome. It was a letter signed by Kathy whom I will assume is a mother in this case. She said she didn't feel it was a fair trade. I myself wish this could have been relayed to me by PM or email and there would be no problem. I did not initiate the trade and only accepted what was offered. I am out nothing more than postage and really don't need more traps but figured someone needed a rangefinder. I sincerely wish there was some way to know what we are dealing with when we trade on here but Cody Gregg aka greggnehawka,NE has cleared his slate with me and renewed my faith in my fellow man.








Gentlemen, I finally got burned by trusting my fellow man...it took 62 years but greggnehawka,NE is a ******* and a ***** and should be looked upon that way by all. A man's name is only as good as his word and he has not upheld his part of the bargain. I sent him a rangfinder for 4 #11 traps...he wanted to remove the earth anchors and seeing I have plenty I told him to do so. Then he gave me a sob story with a promise...then he was shipping this week, then next week and finally PM's, emails go unanswered. If I get the traps I will certainly retract every word of this along with my apology to an extent but I don't see it happeneing. This transaction will not break me but I believe it is a matter of principal. Could be bigger stakes for some other person. Surprises me one would want eternal damnation for a few bucks. CharlieV and I have done buissness before and everything has always gone smoothly. After hearing both sides it sounds like an honest mistake that could have happened to anyone. I am not sure that this even belongs in the bad feedback.

If he send your money back and nothing was lost, its not a big deal. I have had people do it to me and I just keep looking since you can almost always find another good deal. He has dealt with dozens of people and I dont think one of his deals has gone sour.

ive seen some people put bad feedback on people on here just for sayin they was gonna buy something then ended up not being able to no money sent or anything. Joe, I think the issue is that some people aren't being honest. Some people are saying one thing and it's not true, and then another and another and another, and the people they're dealing with are tired of getting the runaround. I'm dealing right now with 2 kids. One of them gave me his parents contact information, the other used his father's account and screwed the deal up. Now the dad is having to scramble backwards to try and make the deal right (which I hope he will, but will be posting if it turns out otherwise).

Charlie V had the right idea with wanting to talk to the parents. These ARE minors, and as a result, the parents are the ones ultimately responsible for their kid's bad dealings if something goes wrong.

There are a lot of honest kids on here, and then there are some that aren't. Same goes with adults.

Oh, and I'm 27. For the record... not defending him, but the kid that gave me his parent's contact information was darren.

PL you are not alone. Jerry and John are still waiting on Gary to make good on a deal they had with him for some animals for taxidermy he received from them. they hand delivered the animals to him with the promise of payment the next day as he was gonna deliver them that evening to the taxidermist that wanted the animals. till this day they have not been able to get him to make good on the deal. Its literally been years and still no money and no response to repeated attempts to locate and contact him.

he has been pmd here about the situation and read but did not repsond to the pm.

Good Luck recovering your funds. Youre gonna need it,imo.

Advertised 9 330's and 3 280's a while back. Said I was interested. After a week, he gets a shipping quote to me that is over 50 dollars, so I ask him to find out what parcel post was instead of priority. After several more days, I get tired of waiting and ask for his address, ready to lump it and send him the money. Next thing I know, he tells me his kid uses his account, reads his pm's and threw a fit that he was selling HIS 330's. Wants to back out on it. I post a WTB ad on here for 330's, mentioning that I'm having trouble without calling him out, and he panics and says he's going to get banned for letting 110 ratter use his account. Magically, the kid, or his dad, I'm not sure which, agrees to selling a dozen 330's for 120 and 3 28's for 35. I ask if he's going to screw me on the shipping, and he says he's going to call his post office. Then, I don't hear back from him. I backed out on this deal because I was sick of the runaround, and apparently, I'm not the only one. If you want doubletalk and screwy deals, this is the guy to deal with. DEAL WITH AT OWN RISK!

Oh, and yeah, I've got all the pm's saved to a word file. I'm thanking my lucky stars I didn't send this guy money, as I have a feeling, I wouldn't have gotten anything in return.

Made a deal to buy an old laptop. Money was sent and acknowledge as received. Bank draft was cashed August 4th. I have not seen the laptop and have been unable to contact the fellow. Tried calling and found a rather upset person claiming that they have had that phone number for over a year and do not know how to contact the former user of that number. I will be contacting the Saginaw, Michigan law enforcement with the info on this issue.

I am pursing an issue on a fraudulent deal with TacDriver1: AKA Jordan White of Saginaw , Michigan. He advertised a used laptop for sale, acknowledged receit of payment, did not ship, and has since removed himself from the string of PMs thru this site. The published phone number for his address is incorrect and has been assigned to others more than a year ago. He appears to still live at 5700 Lessandro St. in Saginaw, but has not left any way of contacting him.

The person who identified himself as Jordan White has appearantly been taking money and goods from others on this site, using different names. The following from another T-man member:

I have sent him a couple of PMs since, one he read but he did not respond as to if he had any way of traking etc. when I asked where they were. the last one has not been read (I sent it to him earlier this week) Not sure if he is tring to scam me or what but will update if things turn out he fulfills his side. Update: Cody replied last night I guess his computer was broken, and The first one that he read and did not reply to he was at school. Asked him agian to see what he might be able to find out since I have nothing to show post office they were sent even.

Update: got the books (6 weeks + after payment was sent). Turns out Cody is 14. Said that he could not ship due to not having my address which was on the postal money order and the envolope it was sent in. He was able to use a computer at school, have the PM where he said the one that he read and did not respond to two weeks before shipping (shipped only after this was posted computer was replaced either the day I posted or the next coincidentally) was while he was at school. I would still not have a dealing with him again even though he finally came through and would recomend that anyone who is thinking about it contact his parrents as I feel if they had been involved this all could have been avoided.

CHARLIE V form ripon wisconsin, i ordered some snares from him and some sheeps wool and he sold the snares as 5ft. snares and they were maybe 4ft. and his gallonbag of sheeps wool turned out to be 1 1/2 quarts. i will never do business with this guy again, as i sent him pm and he removedhimself from the topic so apparently he don't care. all i wanted was an answer to why this happened but know answer. maybe it was an honest mistake but i don't hink so as i've had multiple pm's from other people who have had this same thing happen to them also. thanks for reading, jeremy!

Jeremy, there is gonna be a flood of posts on here saying how much of a stand up guy he is, but don't let them discourage you. If you feel he was in the wrong then stand your ground. I don't personally know him, but someone posted about him earlier and the people pretty much just called that person a liar. I don't know all the details but I know you should stand your ground untill a wrong is made right.

Well I'm here to back up Jeremy, Snares 5'= 60" not even close, Not even 3'. Plus the locks are junk and need to be fixed. I too Pmd would'nt respond, I had seen he had a bunch of good feedback thought he was okay. No more I don't do business like that why should he get away with it. I recently tried to a deal with XXXXXXX. I'm not going to name names as it's not the first time it's happenned to me here. But this was one of the worst. And we all have probrably been a little guilty of something at sometime. Communication makes a big difference.

He had advertised some traps and I said I would take them and to please get me a shipping quote. That took a couple, three weeks, I guess he went hunting or busy in scholl or something! But by the the time of the whole process got to that point with all the messages I sent and the delays in getting back with me.

I was just too uncomfortable about send $150 to someone I had never done business to before. Let's face it, when you are feeling like "biting the bullet" Lil' Bit mentioned up there, it's time to STOP! Don't send that money order!

Let's look at what's happening out there.

1 Over half of the stolen stuff being sold on the 'net is stuff that kids or other family members are stealing from mom, dad or who ever.

2 Kid's at a certain age are still learning their own personal morals that will follow them through their lives. This is not always what their parents are teaching them but a combination of what they are expieriencing between home, siblings, school freinds, etc. If they learn they can easily sell stuff to you that came out of Dad's or gramps back shed, where does it lead.

3 Unfortunately a kid who's selling traps, aren't using them. So what are they using????

To enter into a transaction even unknowingly (as in the internet) without consent of the parent(s) can be undone at the very least.

How you feel if you bought your own traps that disapeared out of your shed here on trapperman? Here's the sinerio: your neighbors kid steals some traps from your shed, sells them to someone else here who later decides he doesn't need all he bought (which he probrably got a deal because the kid wanted them to sell real fast) so he puts them up for sale here.

Let's make sure before we buy anything from minors or make any large sales that mom and dad know. Get a phone number before sending a money order! If they don't take PayPal, WHY?

My question is: "how will any of us know not to deal with XXXXXX if we do not name names? If someone did you wrong or was suspicious, let us know, so we do not get shafted as well.

I agree with most of what you're saying however I deal with minors quite often and have been treated fairly. Maybe I have been lucky but I have not been taken. Communication is so important but I do not think I need to call the parents to OK our deals.
I personally do not accept PayPal and have had few problems with any deals on here because of it. You can look at the history on "Good Feedback" if you wish.
I agree with trapper4 that if you don't name the person you had the bad deal with you are setting us all up for the same thing to transpire.

It may be the buyer feels a need to vent there bad deal but sees no point in using names due to the fact that everyone that has good deals with the seller will call them down on it. I know I have had a transaction on here that just seemed to put me on the short end, but after reading the bad feed back on the seller and the way everyone jumped in to defend the seller, I figured why bother.

I, along with lots of other trappers bought muskrat fleshing boards and stands from Muskrat in August. But as of today (Nov 2), I have received neither the fleshing boards, nor any explanation other than I will check into it, or this is nuts, or I am busy. I paid by paypal in early August. I am going to file a dispute on that but where is he?

Just another reason why I think the bad feedback board needs to be locked and folks with a bad deal can each PM Mod with their side of the issue and then if it is a bad deal or slow pay or slow deliver deal, the Mod can post the info on the bad feedback and it is done with no bickering. The bad feedback can be just like a person's credit report on here.
