Well folks we have another bill to ban leg hold traps from public and general use, this time on the House of Delegates side. This one does not even give us foot snares. http://mlis.state.md.us/2007rs/billfile/hb1369.htm The animal rights people are coming at us with both barrels this year it seems. Please call your Delegates and State Senators and tell them no to any bills that will restrict trapping in Maryland. Tell them no to SB 822 and HB 1369. Both these bill are to take effect before next season so the calls, letters and emails you make today may save your trapping next season. Morgan Bennett.
