Bunnies in the back yard, are turning.

There is one by our place that looks just like that, expect we don't have any snow.

I almost squished a couple near Anderson on the way back from FBKS last week, no snow and they were awfully white still...

My son has been live trapping them in a cage trap for fun and letting them go. Brought one home the other day and had it in the house for a couple of days. Man they are a tame for a wild animal. He could just pick it up without a struggle and hold it. It hopped around the house for a while. In and out of the bathtub. Kind of a kick. No attempt to try and defend itself other than to wiggle a little bit. But then settled right in to being pet.

FT no biting or kicking??? Full grown??? That's amazing!

I was surprised too. Worried it would bite. It didn't. They carried it around in a towel as the long legs were a little bit much for my 6 year old at times. Funny to watch them walk with those long legs. I am sure if it had hit the lawn it would have been gone in a flash.

No...we dont get more than one or two each per season,and then,just watch them bomb in,while we are geese hunting...you would have fun out here Rafe

Guys, explain to me what melonhead is on wolves? I know that it happens to snared wolves, but what and is it blood in the head that causes it?

Well how much fur do people still have from this season? I am finishing stretching my wolves and then have to stretch my cats and fox yet. I might get a picture by June 1st, especially now that bear hunting has kicked in! I guess I will try selling it during the summer.
