How do you fellas keep your caster after you grind em?? I have always just ground them soak in glysern then let them sit on the shelf awhile( 2 years) then use...works great for me..what do you add to the mix as far as a preservitive???

sometimes if I feel alittle crazy I may mix in alittle anise..

I do the same as you, except with Glycol...and no ageing.

Glycerine and 100 proof vodka.

Just enough vodka to help prevent mold. Use as is or age, whatever works for you. If I'm gonna age castor I will usually do so before grinding. Not all the time but most of the time.

They don't need any preservative if they are dried before grinding. To prevent mold, I keep ground castor in glass jugs with screen stretched over the opening instead if a lid. Allowing air keeps them from molding. Ace
