Rafe..I am suprised at you...thats find dining,on the Yukon and Kusko River...the elders will eat the head and tell a story to the children with the bones,..it comes apart as you eat it and has butterfly shaped bones and all sorts,of shapes...they generaly braid the guts and leave it attached to the head..I like them like that but dont have the patiants to clean them out and braid them, and yes it is a Burbot
YP I use bridger coil #3-4 coiled, offset, but #2s alot also

hey YF,Oh good, i am using # 3 bridger coil. Looks like your and expert on lynx. Before this year i only caught one lynx in my life. This year i got 9 so far using # 3 bridgers. Sounds like i got the right trap.

I would not say I am a expert,I am blessed with a decent population and work pretty hard,I have bad days ,just like everyone else....and #3s are a good call...the Lynx looking over the bank in the pic of the double was in a #2

YF, What makes you decide whether to use a #3 or #2 ? Is there a certain set or situation were you would use a #2 over a #3 ?

Not realy...I bought them to save weight,I would say the #3 is better in deep snow, for Lynx, but the #2 is faster, but I do get a full paw catch most times with them, and they make a great otter trap also, and fit in tight places..

YJ : You or anyone used these new Evil cameras ? Electronic viewfinder interchangable lens. Read an article that says ditch your Digital SLR and get one of these. Small and can use your old lenses. Expensive though. I'm not Tech or camera savy, so thought I would ask.

Count me in with those who think your cat pics are top notch.

Yea S.T....they are Generaly pretty board with me...the young ones get exited though...I am going around 55 miles round trip, give or take a few miles, and didnt count my sets, but I am guessing around 40 perhaps less...I pulled a dozen today though, going to do some relocating to straighten the line out a bit,and shorten it up.

Yah... maybe if you come back in an hour, he'll be able to fit you into his schedule. Just don't ask for any favors, though wink
