Mist ours are the same way. As long as stay a constant slow speed they'll just sig and watch as you get into range.

speakin of lynx... been getting a few (4 now) in my wolverine sets... 2 in a bucket, 1 snared, 1 on a foothold, most recent.... having the toughest time when it comes to skinning on the ears... any instructional photos? fox as well. Once you get them loose with the knife, use your fingers and thumb to separate the cartlidge from the skin. Be very careful along the edges and once you get to the tip. Use steady pressure.

Nick's talking about using a earskinning board. Make a thin board shaped to fit whatever animals ears you are skinning, place it inside the ear and turn the ear by pulling it down over the board as you skin. On lynx you may want a board a little more tappered on the end than a martin board but a martin board would be better than nothing at all. An ermine board works fairly well also.

OB and Spek I wouldn't put piano wire, and yes it's just venting, but I WILL be putting more barriers and more flagged rope and more sawhorses and more large logs and more signs this summer as this is NOT a snowmachine trail (the snow was untouched!), this person had to go around SEVERAL barriers to get into MY FRONT YARD that is clearly marked.
It's called complete disrespect for other's property, as I'm sure has happened to more than one of you more than once.
And as venting that's the reason *rant vent moan groan complain* was posted at both the top and bottom.
