I wish ! Still no word from him on this end. It's getting close to his bed time too. He better come up with two days worth on sunday if he expects to sell that book.

Very well could be. I know that one evening he went to bed pretty whipped and I had to wake him the next day for lunch.

I'm plum wore out just reading the story, can't imagine how tired I'd be if I was actually there.

Though I have heard about them snow shoe miles and what they can do for your stamina!

....and most of the daylight. I lived in Fairbanks, where the sun rose after 10:30, and set prior to 2:00 I December. But to be fair, with the snow, we had plenty of light prior to 10:00, and after 2:00 (but not much before, and less after, lol)

True story too. That's one reason I chose to do this in February. Longer light and the days usually are zero or above with the nights down to minus 40. The sun really has some power coming back by this time. Best month of the year IMO.

My memory may be a bit fuzzy, but I don't recall seeing my driveway until sometime near the end of March.

I do recall going grayling fishing the end of May in a creek not too far from home and the bottom half of the creek still was full of ice.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
