I did ask them ! Yesterday , in fact. They said they won't get me any. Girl at the Bank told me to "keep sifting through my change !!"

Go to another bank then.

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Since I choose the meat that goes into my Jalepeno and cheese hot dogs, there is no lips or TJ holes in there....

They make catfood and dog treats out of salmon..... for the time being I can afford the top-shelf fish, like halibut....

Besides, i feed alot of needy or elderly folks with that salmon I catch, wouldn't want them to go without now would ya jimmy?

I'll have to side with Hup on the salmon. I ate enough growing up that I don't care to eat another. I smoke a few but that is enough satiate me.

I tried the herring roe on kelp dipped into seal oil once. I will NEVER do that again. It left a bad taste in my mouth for quite a while.

I used to work at a seafood shop in anchorage back in the early 70's. We used to get Herring Roe on Kelp in 5 gallon buckets, package it up and sell it. It is surely delicious and even more so than suziko or ikura..... Wish I had one of those buckets full today. Little rice...little wasabi...and something to wash it down.

Jeff are you seeing less fox this year. I have not seen one except in the city limits of St. Mary's. Crazy to go all day trapping and not see a fox.

Len, Our fox down here have crashed hard my catch is 1/3rd normal one place I normally get 8-12 fox a year has produced 1 other places that are good for a half dozen have had no catches. I pulled early in hopes of helping them rebound quickly. No tracks no fox the wolf numbers are down as well.

Your correct Len..the fox population is way down...my bycatch went from about 30-40 a year ...down to just 4-5 this year...
the lynx must be eating them...most likly alot of the pups in the summer, but they will take one anytime.
