I'm sure the lynx will take one when they can but I noticed a complete absence of fox 3 seasons ago on my line and I have no cats at all. Something else going on in addition to lynx predation IMO.

White I don't see fox and not much for tracks. I put out two baits stations with my buddy close to St. Mary's over three weeks ago. He wanted a fox to tan. Lynx carcasses for bait. There has not been one hit or track at the station yet as of three days ago when I pulled the snares. Crazy.

Saw alot of fox around this fall and very early in the season, didn't see much sign all winter but WOW, I've never seen so much lynx sign everywhere and most since the beginning of March.

Flying out tonight and gotta overnight in Anchorage and then continue on to Ketchikan in the morning for at a month long dispatch at work. This will be my first time working in an office...ever. I've worked on boats and ships all my life. Anyway, that office thing will only be two weeks and then its back to the boats for a long while, I hope. Time to cause chaos and not so much destruction at the ABC tonight. Who's comin' with me?!

I hear ya on the lynx sign Clinton. There are tracks all over town and in people's yards. I noticed it yesterday! Amazing!

I have eaten those on the Island. THey are not THAT bad if they are dried. It was cool how they weaved the grass to dry them, I wish I would have taken a picture of that.

You guys see the moose rubs in Jeff's picture of the fox? They used to be as rare as a coyote here, but not anymore.
