Better yet, here it will be cloudy, not hot and not humid. Probably stay in the 50's and lower 60's all day.

Unlike that convention oven you live in down there in America, CB, it will be quite pleasant! And daylight all 24 hours.

Good day to mow the grass and weed the garden.

Pete

Yep wild strawberries. they're hard to kill though. I used a cat to clean out a patch of them in 1985 and the darn things grew right back !

Yea TJ...they hit pretty good here in the past few days..the chums hit real hard yesterday...looks like the rest of the state and the fish are slow coming back,we did have a rather cool spring, snd the water has to be the right temp before they will come in...and if you ask me the run is always strong..if you ask FnG they are about extinct..LOL

LOL...will do...they are so rich you cant realy eat as much as you think...we have a drift test fishery, here, starting this year...a local guy, drifts twice a day,for a count, and gives the catch away,to locals,..hopfully this will give a better idea of he run size, then they were getting...they also moved some of the test fishery set net sites, that have been in bad fishing spots for years..dont be suprised if now the fish runs suddenly rebound smile

yukonjeff, it looks like a couple bullet holes in two of those fish. I've heard of shooting halibut, but king salmon?

Just doing what I want now.

What do they do with the lampreys? Render them into anything useful?

THe Korean freash market I believe..might be those smoked ones you see in the sushi section at the stores...they pay the fishermen a buck a lb..we use dip nets through the ice during freeze up around November...they do start turning blush color when they run in the fresh water, just like salmon.
