Before anyone gets too riled, I'd like to point out that it was intended as a joke (except to Hup, lol)... the opinions expressed by one idiotic alaskan do not represent the views of Tman, other alaskans, or anyone in general.. It can be my opinion, I'm from Upstate NY

Don't worry about the burls burning up. They are really easy to find after a fire. They stick out like a sore thumb. Usually they aren't damaged much, just a little messy to handle.

That's good to know !!
I found out that Tourism is a $150 Million dollar a year buisness in Anchorage.
What 's going on with that study for a light rail rapid transit system between a bunch of towns up there ? Is that going to get off the ground ?

CB: Would really like to know who the states were that allegedly beat us for lack of access to the capital. We have worked long and hard to keep the best legislature money can buy away from the voters. Who else has air and water access only to there loyal public servants? Which post ? The one about Alaska being at the bottom for Business Friendly States or the post about the Agriculture ?

Also...if they don't believe you, then let them go. You can always say you warned them. Plus lots of people like the crap they get back...until they see what good taxidermy work is.
